WHAT IS A TES TANK?
TES tanks use the principle of thermal stratification to store cool and warm water in the same tank, utilizing a thin layer thermocline to separate the two different masses of water. Stratified cool water TES tanks store thermal energy in the form of cool water for air-conditioning applications ranging from district cooling to gas turbine inlet air cooling.
