Advance Tank and Construction is a construction company that works throughout the continental United States. We build large capacity, steel erected, storage products from the ground up. We are looking for an Equipment Operator in Rincon, GA who has experience operating excavators and skid steers. We are interested in those who are experienced, hardworking, and know how to work safely.
PAY RANGE
$28.00 to $35.00
The pay range is dependent on the person’s experience and capabilities. Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, 401K, and health & dental insurance. This is an employment at will position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to perform all duties in a manner that creates a safe environment for all employees.
- Must have experience in the operation, lubrication and preventive maintenance of the equipment.
- Must be physically capable and willing to carry 40 to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire physical verifying ability to perform essential functions of the job, as well as a DOT drug test at hire and whenever required by Advance Tank or its customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Must be able to perform all duties in a manner that creates a safe environment for all employees.
- Wheel or Truck Loader-must be capable of loading trucks with excavated material, operating equipment in a confined area, loading and unloading equipment from delivery trucks, backfilling structures and trenches and maintaining a consistent grade.
- Dozier- must be capable of operating equipment in a confined area, backfilling structures and trenches and maintaining a consistent grade. Must understand angle limits of the machine.
- Track or Rubber Tire Hoe- Must be capable of operating the equipment in a confined area, excavating a trench at a consistent grade, loading and unloading delivery trucks, loading excavated material on trucks and backfilling structures and trenches. Must assist foreman in excavating and maintaining an acceptable trench or excavation from a safety standpoint.
- Operators of all equipment must be capable and willing to manually assist with the loading or unloading of material, assist carpenters, rod-busters and other trades as necessary.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Make minor and major repairs to all equipment and operate more than one piece of equipment.
SCHEDULE:
The work is scheduled is Monday through Friday, often ten hours a day. However, often the customer dictates the working hours, so may need to work hours prescribed by the customer. Furthermore, overtime is often required in this job.
WORK CONDITIONS:
This job requires extensive travel within the United States and will require significant time away from home. You will be on your feet all day, which can include kneeling, bending, and standing. Wearing a hardhat, safety glasses, earplugs and suitable work clothing is necessary. The working conditions at each job change from clear and open congested and tight. You will be working outside in all types of weather. You will be expected to be aligned with the Company Work Ethic Document, which is included in your new hire packet.
