For more than four decades, Advance Tank has repaired and installed internal and external floating roofs that range from 15’ to 300’ in diameter. Our maintenance teams can replace damaged legs, seal weld pontoons, repair leaks, replace your outer rim and more. If your floating roof is beyond repair, we can demo your existing roof and design a new floating roof that is compliant with the current requirements of API 650. Advance Tank performs all floating roof repairs in strict compliance with API 653 and API 650 standards. All new floating roofs are designed, manufactured and installed to owner supplied specifications and to the most current API 650 design standard.

It is essential to have tanks that can be used to store varying products. We can take your cone roof tank and modify it to a floating roof for your changing work environment. Advance Tank can evaluate the existing tank(s) design and determine what modifications need to be made to support a floating roof. Once this is done, our crews can retrofit your tank with a new floating roof.

FLOATING ROOF EMISSION REDUCTION EXAMPLE

Today’s regulatory environment requires tank owners to evaluate emissions coming from their storage tanks. If it is determined that a tank needs to have emission reduction modifications made, Advance Tank can help. The solution may be as simple as adding a Geodesic dome, but if more dramatic reductions are required our team of engineers, project managers, and experienced craft can install a floating roof.
